The Story
### Conflicted Hearts
Everyone carries something inside them.
Something they don’t always talk about.
A memory.
A struggle.
A moment where life didn’t go the way they thought it would.
Sometimes it’s pain.
Sometimes it’s love.
Most of the time… it’s both.
That’s what Conflicted Hearts means.
It’s the idea that life is never simple. That two things can exist in the same heart at the same time. Love and anger. Pain and hope. Struggle and ambition.
Every person you pass on the street is carrying their own version of that conflict.
Some people grow up with everything handed to them.
Others grow up learning to create something from nothing.
I was one of those people.
Growing up, I didn’t have the newest clothes or the latest brands everyone else had. Not because I didn’t want them… but because we simply couldn’t afford them.
My mum was raising me on her own.
A single black mum trying to make ends meet and give her child opportunities in a world that isn’t always fair.
And anyone who knows a strong mother like that knows one thing:
They never let you see how hard it really is.
But I saw it.
The late nights.
The sacrifices.
The stress of trying to make things work.
Instead of buying me clothes, sometimes my mum would make them for me.
Back then, I didn’t realise how powerful that was.
Now I understand — those moments planted the seed for everything that came after.
Because while other kids were wearing brands…
I was watching how clothes could actually be created.
That’s where the idea started.
Not just wearing clothes — but building something bigger.
A brand.
A vision.
A future.
At the same time, life was complicated in other ways too.
My dad lived in Australia and growing up he was distant. That distance leaves questions in a kid’s mind.
But life has a strange way of bringing things full circle.
As I got older, things changed.
My dad started his own business and began helping my mum and I.
The same two people who once had conflict between them put everything aside for one thing:
My wellbeing.
And that moment taught me something powerful.
Even when there is conflict…
Even when things feel broken…
Love can still exist.
That’s the real meaning behind Conflicted Hearts.
At one point I was going to call the brand Conflicted Love, but the name was already taken.
Looking back, I’m glad it was.
Because this brand isn’t just about love.
It’s about the human experience.
Everyone has moments where they feel torn between things.
Between anger and forgiveness.
Between struggle and success.
Between the person they used to be… and the person they’re becoming.
When I was younger, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t perfect.
I used to be a little bit of a crashout.
But life teaches you things.
You start to realise that holding onto anger doesn’t build anything. It only holds you back.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do isn’t fighting.
It’s choosing growth.
Choosing discipline.
Choosing vision.
Choosing to build something bigger than yourself.
That’s what this brand represents.
Not perfection.
Not luxury.
Not status.
But transformation.
From struggle to ambition.
From conflict to clarity.
From nothing… to something.
Conflicted Hearts is for the people who know what it feels like to start from the bottom.
For the kids who didn’t have the newest clothes but still had big dreams.
For the mothers who sacrificed everything to give their children a chance.

Every tracksuit.
Every piece we create is a reminder that your past doesn’t define your future.

It’s a reminder of where I came from.
A tribute to the strength of my mum.
